Rock God Tycoon
Originally written Feb 13 2017, updated October 10 2017. Rock God Tycoon is a game that is currently under Early Access on Steam. Rock God Tycoon is being developed by EmberWulf which compromises of two people and the game is where you form a band and try make it. Band members can Busk, Refine Skills and Write Songs and you also have the option to edit or manage each band member.
Busking is needed regularly to get enough money to pay the money rent and pay your band, busking is also good because the more you do, the more fans you get and the more fans you get the more popular you become and the more cities you are able to visit. The interface has been changed since February (see above for Feb example) with users now having a choice between Busk, Practice Skills and Write Song.
Practice Skill now has options such as Star Quality, Writing Skill, Musicality Skill and Instrument Skill. Meanwhile Writing a Song does take time to be done especially when using only one writer but the time goes down with every co-writer added but the more songwriters can increase or decrease the quality of the song. Each song written is automatically 10% rehearsed by the writer or writers and rehearsing in the studio boosts the percentage each time it is practiced, players must be aware that members who write the song can bring down a quality of song if one member has a song writing level of 10 and another one has a level of 4. After each song is written, users have the opportunity to create the song musically themselves and this feature is one that has gotten a lot of attention, if used this option allows people to watch the gigs as they happen.
Five songs can be performed at any of the gigs, each gig does lower the novelty value of the songs so don't play a song to death as it will lower your rating and share of profits.
Random events so far noted have been being pulled over, people fighting outside, band mates insulted online, your car needs cleaning and songs are offered to be purchased. Record contracts can be secured based on popularity but it is good to have your songs well rehearsed first before recording enough tracks to satisfy demand. Rock God Tycoon is still being worked on but for a Early Access game this one is currently a winner of a game as it has many features and is improved on regularly.
