Pokemon Shuffle (3DS & iOS)

Pokemon Shuffle is a game where you have to defeat Pokemon before your moves are up and then catch them To defeat them, you have to matching three or more of the same Pokemon enough times to drain their hit points.

The more of the same Pokemon you get in a pattern, the more hit points you take from the Pokemon you are trying to catch. After their health bar is depleted, you have the chance to catch the Pokemon, the earlier you have defeated the Pokemon the better your percentage of catching the Pokemon.

No two levels are the same, some give you plenty of turns and some are short three turn games, some Pokemon will have disruptions that make it harder to score points. Every couple of levels there will be a boss Pokemon, if you defeat that Pokemon and you got the same one but not a boss, you will be able to have an evolved Pokemon after a certain amount of matches. Players will get stuck on some of the boss levels, the best way to pass them is to use the blue stones that players will get from time to time so you can buy all the boosts without needing to spend money. Players get a maximum of five hearts, you will get one back every 30 minutes and sometimes the game makers will get you 30 bonus hearts or even more. There are hundreds of levels, there will be different kinds of the same Pokemon so be aware of that. It is a fun game that takes up a fair amount of time and that is good so if you want a game that will keep kids busy, Pokemon Shuffle is a good game to do it. Game rating: 4 out of 5.
