Cyber Team Manager
Cyber Team Manager was a game made by The Tambourine, it was their second game after 'Dream Factory' a game we had high hopes on but delivered disappointment as it was abandoned an update after early access release. Upon loading up the game, users quickly discover that there is music in this game an improvement over 'Dream Factory' which was pure silence.
Next you create a player for yourself, you fill in your details, choose a region and game database then pick a team and league. You cannot tab across from box to box so you have to click on every box yourself to type in your details.
After you do all that, you get into the game and from the picture above you can see when your team will play and various other stats, clicking continue sends the game forward a day, so far so good for the game.
We clicked on the envelope and as you can see, there's an inbox of mail and you can see in the bottom half of the message there is a collision of text as two lines are overlapping and the message is missing words which shows the developers don't know English very well. Also there is 10 unread messages but you can only see two messages there.
We fast forward to the game date and you can pick out the characters your team will use in the game and each selection either goes in bans or picks. The five picks are then distributed to your team and then it is game time.
Users are then taken into the game which doesn't look that bad then it is time to send your characters into battle, the game it is pretty repetitive as you pick a character, pick an attack and press attack or in this game 'Atack' Most people don't get any further than this point as the game jams, The Tambourine reported problems with Unity and Unity apparently told them "Ehm guys, we are can't help you with nothing". The UI of the game was supposed to been ported to another engine version in February 2017 but it never happened, this became the second incomplete game by The Tambourine followed by Legions of Rome which was also incomplete with game mechanics missing.
